Dr Ortuso is an expert in orthodontics in Rome

The female smile
The female smile is characterised by an arched lower lip that extends parallel to the upper lip line. Women in general have a high smile line.
The male smile
The male smile is characterised by a straight incisal line that gives an impression of health and strength. Men in general have a low smile line.
Gum aesthetics
An abnormality in the shape of the gum causes a serious impairment of the smile. We have developed, alongside the already well-known periodontal clinic procedures, plastic surgery of the gum and implantology in Rome, capable of restoring the best architecture and correct proportions. We range from peeling (abrasion) performed with specific burs to remodelling operations performed only on the gum or on the gum and underlying bone. The duration of the procedures varies from half an hour to two hours. The result is permanent.
